A Unique Program in Economic Reconciliation
Economic Reconciliation is the focus of FNEE’s newest program, launched on February 13, 2024, at the Hélène Desmarais Building of HEC Montréal. The first cohort, which wrapped up this summer, enabled 10 Indigenous / Non-Indigenous pairs to advance their reconciliation projects further. A Cultural Transmission Project: Bridging Generations through Wendat Heritage
Carling Sioui, founder of O’yenhra and Élisabeth Petit, president of Loin Devant Ressources Humaines Inc., have joined forces to create a bilingual Wendat/French colouring book. This inspiring initiative celebrates Wendat culture by making it accessible to all, using a playful, educational tool that bridges generations and cultures, and deepens the appreciation of Indigenous heritage.

Carling and Élisabeth embarked on a shared path, driven by deep mutual respect and sincere listening. In the program, they found a supportive space where every voice is honoured and every contribution is celebrated, enabling them to turn their vision into a shared reality.
